New Roses

Yesterday I got to meet many of my new students at the King George Elementary School Open House.  It was great to see so many familiar faces and some new ones as well.  I also got to see a lot of my students from last year who stopped by to say hi!  One even brought me an adorable hedgehog to add to my ever growing collection.  :-)  I know it is going to be an amazing year and we are going to do wonderful things together.

Today I am going to get name tags out on all the desks and try to assign numbers to my students.  Elizabeth (my daughter) is going to come by and help to put away all of the supplies that the students brought to school yesterday.  I hope to even get a chance to explore our new math series.  It is going to be a busy day here, but I know it is going to be a great school year!
