Well, we didn't quite finish the first week of school the way I had wanted to, but I did enjoy the extra day off getting things organized for our journey that will really begin this week. I am thankful that no one was terribly injured as a result of the flooding in the area. I am also thankful that we only lost our power for a brief time from this storm.
If you haven't checked out my website yet, please try to do that this week. It has a lot of information about our classroom and everything that goes on there. I was able to spend most of today updating pages and getting it ready for this school year.
