I started this week with a great email from from a teacher in another state whose class found my class website with her class in a search. What a great day to start the week. I love to hear about people who check out my website and this made my Monday morning. They even sent me a link to a really neat money link. I can't wait for the money unit to start so we can use it!
We began to use our Reading books this morning. This is a new experience for our class and they rose to the challenge. We also learned about our student dictionaries. We spent a long time this morning looking for our words we learned last year. We also looked for our new High Frequency Words in our dictionaries.
Homework went home today in our Blue FLOWER Folders. If your child did not bring it home, please send a note right away. I also sent home some old social studies books that you can keep at home as a extra something to read if your child forgets their reading book at school.
